Today's race, the Pounding Idiots Criterium (CBR), saw a
small break escape and lap the 35-rider field. Sammy
Dean continued to show his form by driving the break, and
was then protected by the team for the finish. At the
final sprint, Sammy took 3rd place, as he was
only passed by the previous day's winner at the Barrio Logan
GP, Marco Rios, and Rudy Napolitano of Rock Racing. |

This year's Barrio Logan Grand Prix, while not as fast as in
previous years, saw several moves get reeled in, and end
with a field sprint. Drew Salcedo led the team's
results with a 10th place finish, while Randall
came in 11th, and Aaron followed in 13th.
The women's race also came down to a mass sprint...for 2nd,
as a late solo move proved successful. Bonnie Bourque
took 6th place on the day. |
